Introducing Christel Molin, our new deputy!

Hello dear members and circus community! My name is Christel and I have just started working as Deputy Manager for Cirkus Syd and as Deputy Network Coordinator BNCN to fill up when Lina temporarily working reduced hours from August.

I am a creative producer and a project manager since many years with a deep passion for all forms of performing art, working with site-specific artists, events, media, contemporary circus, theatre, music and dance.

When not working here I am working in Helsingborg at Dunkers kulturhus as an overall coordinating producer for example working with Passage International Street festival this year which probably most of you know (which is a collaboration between Helsingör Teater and Dunkers kulturhus.) https://passagefestival.nu/

Site-specific art is a great passion in all work I do, so besides performing art, I work with a big Land Art project in Helsingborg this summer in collaboration with 4 artists and 50 youngsters having this as their work for the summer. They produce five art pieces all around in Helsingborg.

I have good experience in planning different projects, programming events and arrangements, administration and managing operations in the area, with good contacts in all of the Nordic Countries and Internationally. I do know performing art, especially what to do in the area of collaboration. Contemporary Circus is a passion as well, since it combine parts that gives interesting projects and performances.

For my spare time (if I have any ) I do garden work and build garden environments. And of course I spend time with my family, my dog and my friends. Moreover, I do yoga and ballet, proud to tell that last year, for the first time in my life, I was able to do a handstand!
