See you at STENKROSSEN

Kastanjegatan 13, 223 57 Lund, Sweden

From 03.02 until 05.02.2023 - three packed days full of inspiration!

Due to our company in residence project with Cirkus Syd, we are able to provide the workshop for free.  All participants cover living expenses (travels, food, accommodation) for themselves. Please let us know if you want to attend, but have obstacles (economic or other), and we will see what we can do. We have a limited amount of spaces available - we might therefore unfortunately not be able to provide space for everyone interested.

The aim of performing arts company Acting for Climate is to use art to inspire people to act for a more sustainable future. Through our performances and workshops, we hope to support the rising creative climate wave, connect, and share.

In this workshop, participants will get an insight in how the company works creatively with climate related issues, and our methods for creative activism and artistic exploration on the issues.

Building on the strength of each participant’s artistic expression, we hope to support and kick-start new projects related to environmentalism. The workshop is also a space to connect with other artists interested in the same topics, share inspiration and cross-pollinate artistic dreams.

The foundation of all our workshops rest in an exploration of our relationship to nature. From the separating facts of climate change and biodiversity loss, to the opening up of our senses to an alive world around us.

The workshop will include creative research, discussions, games, as well as practical and theoretical exploration of the combination between climate activism and performing arts. In this workshop Acting for Climate will share our methods and creative tools, and explore the combination together with the participants. We hope to boost the sustainability in your own project, organisation, or wider circles.

Come join us for three days packed with inspiration, creativity and action!

With love and loads of excitement,

The Acting for Climate Crew
