Are you between 15 - 25 years old and want to start creating within circus? Do you have a small act, or wish you had an act, and want some help in creating and developing material? Then we welcome you to the November Circus Creation!
This project will run during Circus Open Training four Wednesdays in November at Stenkrossen in Lund. The creation will be mostly independant, with guidance and feedback during each session. We strive to create a safe space for showing all of your new and old, stupid and smart ideas. Kick start your creation with the help of a group!
The project is under the guidance of circus artist and teacher Fridamy Roth.
Schedule:
Wednesday 8th of November
17.00 - 18.00: Start up fika and discussion: what goals do you have, how do you begin a creation process and how do you give/recieve feedback.
18.00 - 20.00: Begin creating! Show a small extract at the end of the training. Small feedback session.
Wednesday 15th November
18.00 - 20.00. Open Training, practice, create and show how far you have come. Small feedback session.
Wednesday 22th November
18.00-20.00: Open Training, practice, create and show how far you have come. Small feedback session.
Wednesday 29 November:
17.00 - 20.00: Practice, create and show for the last time! We end the process with a fika and feedback session.
As the Wednesday trainings are sometimes very full of people, you will also be able to create and practice during "Independant Training" on Mondays and Fridays at Stenkrossen. These times are without guidance from Fridamy, but might have more space and focused energy. It will also be possible to book our small Studio "Blåan" for practice and creation in completely own time.
This event is free, but you need to be a member of either Cirkus Syd or Lunds Kulturskola - nycirkus.
