About the Event

Join us on March 18th for a unique Circosonic public discussion with special guest presenter Frank Simes!

Simes is a Grammy-nominated and platinum-record awarded musician, guitarist, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He has worked with a phenomenally long list of top of the charts musicians and is decorated with multiple international awards.

His current projects include writing a memoir, and developing a documentary and an immersive dome production based on his keynote talk entitled The Big Strum Theory, which makes a connection between music, science, and spirituality. The project is an introduction to the meta-musical field, the fundamental fiber of the universe. After Simes's presentation, there will be ample time for questions and our usual Circosonic-style group discussion about how these themes might relate to contemporary circus and sound.

As part of Cirkus Syd and the Circus Thinkers Platforms project Circosonic this discussion is the firth in a series about circus and sound.

This project is funded by Kulturbryggan.
