For the 4th year in a row, DYNAMO, in collaboration with partners OFF, Cirkus Syd and Obygden Cirkusfestival are calling filmmakers, circus artists, thinkers and creators, who wish to explore circus through this (very) short format!
The competition is open to all genres, as long as the film explores circus-relevant themes and topics.
With this project, we ask: What happens when the circus body enters the screen? Which opportunities arise when highly specialized tricks meet the ability to bend time? What modes of expression does film represent, and how do they correlate with the infinite expressions of circus?
Capture this in 60 seconds, and you’re free to enter the competition!
Deadline to submit: 1st June!
Notification from the jury: 15th June!
Selected films will be screened in 2026 at OFF Odense International Film Festival and at Southern Sweden Circus Festival in Lund.
