Om Evenemanget
The Sphere shapers, come from the contemporary circus world. They are radical theorists, mechanism designers, visual artists, artful asset managers, fugitive planners, and so much more. They are interested in new media and web 3.0 technologies, and are inspired by the trust-making, risk-taking, boundary-pushing practice of circus.
During autumn 2022 Cirkus Syd is collaborating with the Sphere to offer two workshops. One in person and one online. This is workshop in person and is a further collaboration with Inkonst.
A key function in idea of The Sphere is to create a catalogue of creative ideas which people can work with as sources of inspiration and collaboration - and get voted to receive commissions of funding to create real live works of art and performance.
In this workshop we invite artists from circus and from other fields to come together and create visionary ideas based on Love Letters by other artists and to create own Love Letters for the future.
By the end of this workshop participants will:
- Have an understanding of what The Sphere is.
- Have a response to a love letter from The Sphere catalogue
- Be able to submit creative ideas to The Sphere.
- Understand the funding process.
- Be able to engage in the next round of funding applications.
