Cirkus Syd invites you to an information meeting for artists and companies before the launch of the Southern Sweden Circus Festival.

As part of a larger investment in the regional infrastructure for the circus arts, the city of Malmö and the municipality of Lund have jointly initiated a new international circus festival with high ambitions. The venture is unique as it is the first time the city of Malmö and the municipality of Lund have collaborated on a major cultural event. The kick-off takes place in September 2023 and marks the beginning of a circus biennial that will be held for the first time in September 2024. The festival is produced by Cirkus Syd, a non-profit association and think tank based in Lund that works globally to research, develop and strengthen the circus arts.

We invite artists to digital information meetings to share in-depth information about the festival, how we work, opportunities to get involved and collaboration. We hope you will come to also share your thoughts and ideas.

Cirkus Syd bjuder in till infoträff för artister och kompanier inför lanseringen av Southern Sweden Circus Festival.

Som en del av en större satsning på den regionala infrastrukturen för cirkuskonsten har Malmö stad och Lunds kommun gemensamt initierat en ny internationell cirkusfestival med höga ambitioner. Satsningen är unik då det är första gången Malmö stad och Lunds kommun samarbetar kring ett stort kulturarrangemang. Startskottet sker med kick-off i september 2023 och markerar början på en sprakande cirkusbiennal som genomförs för första gången i september 2024. Festivalen produceras av Cirkus Syd, en ideell förening och tankesmedja baserad i Lund som arbetar globalt med att undersöka, utveckla och stärka cirkuskonsten.

Med anledning av detta så bjuder Cirkus Syd in till digitala informationsträffar för att dela fördjupad information artister om festivalen, hur vi jobbar, möjligheter till att engagera sig och samarbete. Vi hoppas ni vill komma för att även dela med er av era tankar och idéer.
