Open House at Stenkrossen, Lund

Cirkus Syd are participating in Stenkrossen Open House the 8th of October! 

Their will be Open Circus training in Bygghallen between 18:00-20:00, we’ll have aerial silks and aerial hoop rigged, and juggling equipment ready to use!

And we will show the circus documentary  En Équilibre in Blåan at 19:00:

"Amid sweat and dust, Kati and Victor have crisscrossed France and Europe for 15 years, performing with the Aital circus. She is an acrobat, and he is her catcher. Despite the pressure of living and working together, Kati and Victor remain steadfast partners in work and in life, for the better or worse. Whatever their mood : the show must go on! Until their bond is tested with the arrival of a child that throws them off balance." The showing will start at 19:00 inside of Blåan.

Bee the changes + LÖV

The honey and wax from our two beehives at Stenkrossen has just been harvested! During Open House the 8th of September, we welcome people from the community to buy honey and make candles from our beeswax. Lunds Öppna Verkstad has designed and 3D printed templates which we’ll use for candle making. A warm welcome to our BTC x LÖV workshop!

Besides this workshop you will also be able to participate in the process of extracting the newly harvested honey from the frames. This process is a fun and exciting part of the beekeeping year! This year's honey (from early summer) will of course also be available for purchase.

PRIYANKA MAYA Studio

A very warm welcome to PRIYANKA MAYA Studios first workshop at Stenkrossen!    We will be offering a natural, sustainable fabric dyeing workshop. We will be using coffee and red onion to colour our fabric. Please bring your own clothing or fabric that you wish to dye. The fabric has to be made of natural materials such as cotton, linen, hemp, silk etc. We will start the workshop at 18.00, please come around this time so that there will be an adequate amount of time for your fabric to pick up the dye.

ABC 

We invite you to come and have a coffee and a fika with us to hear about our projects and meet some of our volunteers. And while you listen you will have the opportunity to plant some mung bean sprouts!
