Dramatic Fields
Baltic Nordic Circus Network (BNCN) partners Cirkus Syd (SE), Cirko – Center for New Circus (FI) and Arts Printing House (LT) are looking for under 30-year-old professional circus artists from the Nordic and Baltic countries to participate in the Dramatic Fields project in 2021-2022. The project explores together with the participants the structures and practices of meaning making in circus, ie. circus dramaturgy.

Participation
Dramatic Fields consists of an online kick-off seminar and two workshops that are organised in a hybrid format where the local area participants can participate in person on location and participants from other countries can attend online (but if the global situation gets worse, the workshop will happen entirely online). The participants will be actively involved in forming the content of the workshops based on topics they find important to deal with in relation to contemporary circus dramaturgy. Dramatic Fields workshops are facilitated by Jarkko Lehmus, dramaturg and producer of Cirko – Center for New Circus (FIN).
